| 9:31 pm | I hope everyone is as excited to be coming back to Hogwarts this year. I haven't spoken to Professor McGonagall yet about try outs for the Gryffindor team but I am planning to go out for Seeker this year. Anyone else anxious for Quidditch? [Hexed to Members of the DA] Things are dire. I know I do not need to tell all of you that but it is good to admit it. It is good to say it out loud and even good to write it. Things will be different at Hogwarts this year. It will be terrible for a lot of us but we have no choice but to return. Hogwarts will need the DA this year. I am proposing we have a meeting of the DA when we arrive at school, as soon as possible. Bring your coins. Be careful to hide them well and tell no one of them. There are those we will need to include and those we will need to protect. But, we need to be smart. Tell no one about the meeting until we can discuss new people as a group. [End Hex] |

When: October 1, 1996 Where: Starting at the Gryffindor Girl's Dorm Rating: R Ginny was so nervous she thought she might feint before she ever got to Katie's door. Is this what boys went through? She suddenly had a bit of sympathy for them and their role in dating rituals. Not sure how to dress, Ginny went casual since she had little else. She wore green, corduroy overalls with a brown sweater and white trainers. The walk from her dorm, up the stairs to Katie's dorm, Ginny felt like it took forever to get there! Knocking at the door, she waited nervously. In her left hand was a big sunflower she had picked the day before. |

| 2:29 pm | Who: Ginny Weasley and Katie Bell What: Qudditch Tryouts are nearing… When: Late September, 1996 Where: The Quidditch Pitch Rating: R Ginny was nervous about the upcoming try outs. Her broom was…subpar, to say the least. Plus, unlike getting thrust into the Seeker position the year before, she had all summer and the start of school to worry about making the team. Plus, she had just learned, that Harry had been made team captain… The nice thing was, Quidditch was a great distraction from her other problems. Her break up with Dean Thomas had been a bit nasty and she was looking to put it behind her. So, here she was, using her Sunday afternoon to practice instead of doing her homework. It would be a late night but it would be worth it. In her red and black practice robes, Ginny was standing with her broom looking out over the pitch. The cool fall breeze was picking up as the sun started its downward trek to nightfall. Hearing footsteps, she turned to see who was coming up to her. |
